This year, contestants upped the ante to secure votes from their coworkers by thinking beyond a simple sweater by including front and back Christmas ugliness and/or ugly adornments from head-to-toe. Because of their dedication and creativity, the three employees in the running were: Jeremiah Bechtel, South Building; Abbie Brown, North Building; and Joel Schmidt, Office. By a sophisticated company-wide candy-cane vote, Jeremiah won by a landslide. His elf hat, turtleneck, Christmas sweater cardigan, leggings, and elf slippers won him a $50 Target gift card. Abbie got second place and Joel received the honorable third place. These contestants demonstrated that to win the prestigious Co-Line Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, you really need to take creative to a new level.
