Projects group tackles Harley backrest
A Co-Line customer and his wife can now ride their new Harley-Davidson in style and comfort, thanks to some work done at Co-Line. The bike’s passenger backrest (sissy bar) was too low for the wife to sit comfortably, so Co-Line was contacted to take the original sissy bar and add three inches of height. Since this was a brand new bike, it was important to the customer that the bike retain its original look. He didn’t want anyone to be able to tell the original part had been tampered with. The projects group at Co-Line got to work, TIG welding a couple new pieces in and smoothing everything out so it looked original. The paint department finished it off with flat black paint, and the Harley is ready to hit the road this spring!
