Pizza, prizes, bonus highlight January quarterly meeting
The fourth-quarter meeting on Thursday, Jan. 28, celebrated a successful ending to 2015 and spurred employees on to continued excellence in 2016. Co-Liners were welcomed to the meeting with breakfast pizza, a welcomed treat that chilly morning.
Linda Russell and Jay Mitchell, Wellness Program facilitators, handed out awards to employees and their spouses who participated in the fitness and/or nutrition challenges.

A total of 50 people – 34 employees and 16 spouses – tackled at least one Wellness challenge in October, November, and December, completing tasks like walking 31 miles in 31 days and avoiding fast food for a month. Hats and gloves were given to those who completed one challenge each of the three months.
Also during the Wellness presentation, Linda quizzed employees with multiple-choice health-related questions, with all volunteers receiving fitness-related gifts.
Eric Brand then directed Co-Liners’ attention to a review of the fourth quarter, congratulating everyone on reaching 504,322 hours and 398 days without a lost-time accident at the conclusion of 2015. It was announced that a take-and-bake pizza for each Co-Liner would be handed out at the end of the day to celebrate this accomplishment.
Eric also touched on the quality, profitability, productivity, and on-time delivery measures and announced the employee bonus percentage. He noted the positive changes made in recent years are reflected in the increases in the average bonus percentages over the past three years.
The meeting wrapped up with more fourth-quarter highlights, an outlook at the rest of the first quarter, and Dale “Rail” Brand discussing proactive initiatives going forward in 2016.
