MidWest One sponsors free lunch at quarterly meeting
Co-Liners enjoyed a free lunch on MidWest One during the first quarter meeting on Thursday, Apr. 23. Several representatives from the Pella bank were in attendance, including Brian Hauser, who explained a handout listing perks the bank offers to Co-Line employees only.
In addition to free food, some Co-Liners also received cash and free socks awarded to those who completed the first quarter wellness program.
Also at the meeting, Eric Brand listed all the percentages that contributed to the first-quarter bonus. Eric also announced that the south building expansion is on hold for this year, mainly because of the slowness
of government applications and the current economic conditions. He congratulated the entire group, especially the Goalsetter group, because April had the largest sales month in the 24-year history of Goalsetter.
Dale Brand also spoke to the employees. "I'm so humbled by the incredible group of people here and their families dependent on this organization."
Then he mentioned numerous ways society promotes the feeling of winning versus actually winning in a presentation titled "Winning in a Changing Market."
"I've been in business for 36 years, and I'm amazed how many businesses don't understand winning," he said. "At Co-Line and Goalsetter, we do know how to win. I'm so obsessed with details because that is all there is for the difference between the competition and us – details and more details."
