Co-Liners give hours of their time
Co-Line's Wellness Program initiatives in June included Co-Line employees being encouraged to log the time they spend volunteering for causes important to them. Employees noted the number of hours spent in a volunteer capacity as well as the organization they worked for. Employees showed a wide variety of interests and logged a lot of their own time for the communities.
Volunteer forms were turned in by 43 Co-Line employees, who put in a total of 678 volunteer hours just for the month of June! That's an average of 15.7 hours per volunteer, and totals nearly 17 weeks of volunteer work (at 40 hours per week.) Those are some pretty impressive numbers!
Some of the popular volunteer organizations included Little League and sports camps, church and Bible school, city and civic groups, Lion's Clubs, volunteer fire departments, Progress Industries, Harvest House, school boards and related school activities, and various kids organizations, like 4-H, Boy Scouts, and Kingdom Hoops.
It is clear that Co-Line employees take pride in their communities and see value in giving of themselves. The variety of organizations indicates the diversity of interests and opportunities available in our local area. We are proud to support the efforts of so many employees and celebrate their giving hearts!
