Across-the-board raise, free meal highlight quarterly meeting

Thursday, Oct. 26, was a good day to be a Co-Liner. At the quarterly meeting that day, employees enjoyed a free lunch catered by Country Catering and paid for by 1st State Bank. Ten Co-Line employees and two staffing agency employees were welcomed to their first quarterly meeting. For the third quarter, $2,860 was shared with 53 employees and 24 spouses for wellness program rewards. Next, Co-Liners heard a review of on-time delivery, quality, productivity, and profitability measurements as well as what went right and what hurt in the third quarter. The 2018 outlook for sales is strong, and Co-Line continues to be very diversified. The company is experiencing more work than we can commit to, something the sales team has not experienced since pre-2008 market conditions. The bonus program for 2018 was also reviewed. All Co-Liners received an across-the-board raise and were challenged to make the fourth quarter a successful quarter with great bonus potential on top of the raise and years-of-service bonus.
